We definitely have several sports lovers here at Mixbook, so we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to watch a baseball game as a group! Last Sunday, several of us attended the Oakland A’s vs. San Francisco Giants game—talk about a house divided! (I’d say the majority of us are Giants fans, but maybe I’m just biased!)
What’s a baseball game without a little pre-game tailgating? Hot dogs, frozen lemonade, beer and ice cream sum up most of the goodies consumed throughout the day!
The game definitely had its exciting moments! The Giants were up 2-1 most of the game due to a two-run home run by Buster Posey in the first inning. It seemed as if the Giants were going to pull out with the win until the very last inning when A’s rookie Derek Norris hit a game-winning three-run home run!
Overall it was a great time and I can’t wait for our next team outing! Until then… keep up the Mixbooking!
