We’re thrilled to announce today that the Yobongo team has joined us at Mixbook. In the past year, Yobongo has made huge strides in location-based mobile chat, and now they will help us take the Mixbook experience to an exciting new place: your mobile phone.
We know this team back from their days pioneering online scrapbooking at Scrapblog (acquired by Mixbook in January 2011), whose technology has helped us make our powerful editor even more robust. So, you know that there are great things ahead with these talented folks in our office every day.
Stay tuned and in the meantime, please give Yobongo founder Caleb Elston’s post on the news a read. We think he sums it all up perfectly.

If this is going to allow me to use Mixbook on my iPad then it will be a dream come true!
Kim July 16, 2012 at 8:55 pm
Is there a way to get this on my iPad cloud.thanks
Elle Daquioag July 17, 2012 at 7:32 am
Hi Kim,
At this time, the Mixbook editor cannot be accessed from an iPad. Our editor requires Flash, which is a program that the iPad does not run. We do apologize about the inconvenience! Our editor can be accessed from any Flash enabled computer with internet access. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to e-mail support@mixbook.com!

When will mixbook be available for the ipad
Mixbook Customer Care Team October 9, 2012 at 7:30 am
Hi Kim!
At this time, Apple does not allow Flash based applications to work on the iPad, so Mixbook will not launch for iPad users. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Mixbook should be able to run on any Flash-enabled browser. Thank you for your understanding! Please let us know if you have any additional questions, comments, or concerns, and we’d be happy to help!
Best Regards,
Veronica

When will this be available for iPad?
Andrea October 11, 2012 at 2:19 pm
Now that Android systems will not have Adobe Flash updates anymore and Adobe is working on “Adobe Edge” which is a new HTML5 that will work on ipad and iphone, will Mixbook find a way to get us an app or a way to edit our photobooks on our tablets? Pretty please? That would be so amazing!!!!

Hi Holly!
We always love hearing feedback and ideas from our customers! While at this time, Mixbook is not available for iPad users as Apple does not allow Flash based applications to work on the iPad, Mixbook should be able to run on any Flash-enabled browser. We will definitely forward your suggestions to our engineering team, however! Thank you for using Mixbook and please feel free to message us at support@mixbook.com with any additional feedback, comments, or questions!
Have a wonderful day!

I would love to use your Mixbook on my ipad. When will you be able to run on something besides flash so your thousands of fans who use iPads can use your site? I hate to go elsewhere, but may have to.

Hi Kathy!
The Mixbook editor is currently not available for iPad users as Apple does not allow Flash based applications to work on the iPad,
We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we will definitely pass your feedback along to our engineering team. In the meantime, Mixbook should be able to run on any Flash-enabled browser.

Thanks for Mosaic, but it’s not even close to the Mixbook editor in options, style, personalization, etc. I know Apple does not allow Flash based apps on iPad. And I appreciate your apologies for the inconvenience. I know that Mixbook does run on Flash-enabled browsers. But there are so many of us iPad users that would really love to be able to use Mixbook editor on our iPads. Please, please work on this. I would think your picture book sales would increase exponentially.

Hi Kara!
We appreciate your feedback on our Mixbook editor and will definitely pass this along! In the meantime, we suggest using the Mosaic app to create projects on your Ipad. We will be sure to forward your suggestions to our Mosaic team as well so they may further develop the functionality of the app. If you have any additional Mosaic related questions, please contact hello@heymosaic.com.

I love mixbook, but I am now using an iPad instead of a computer. It is very inconvenient for me to find anything else to work on. I have a book in progress and will finish that, but until mixbook becomes compatable with the iPad, I am going to have to look elsewhere for my creative endeavors. I really hope you guys can do something or find some other program that makes mixbook and the iPad compatible!
Mixbook Customer Care Team March 24, 2013 at 3:52 pm

In the meantime, feel free to check out Mosaic by Mixbook at: http://www.heymosaic.com
